It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Dubai College requires a neat school uniform. The regulation items are stocked at Magrudy Enterprises (Beach Road, Jumeirah) and at Stitches (Street 10, Al Quoz). Dubai College's online sports kit (Kukri) is available, including Senior Rugby shorts, Cricket top and trousers, and a Netball dress for Years 7–9. All uniform items and kit should be clearly labelled with the student's name.
Dubai College has four food outlets: the main canteen, Charlton's Café in SPACE (open at break and lunch to all students, and all day for Sixth Form students), the kiosk for snacks and drinks, and the Quad Café in The Jafar Centre offering hot and cold food. A cashless card is used to purchase meals, and a mobile app provides information on what has been purchased. Packed lunches are allowed, and the school encourages healthy eating.
Dubai College uses a four-house system: Barbarossa, Chichester, Cousteau, and Heyerdahl. Every student is assigned to a house, and houses compete across more than 70 events spanning sports, arts, and academics. The inter-house Sports Day is a key annual event.
Dubai College is a non-profit school governed by a Board of Governors drawn from the local community under an Emiri Decree. The Board decides policy, with day-to-day implementation carried out by the Headmaster and Bursar.
