Dubai Scholars Private School was founded in 1976 and opened in Deira as a villa-based school. Under the Scholars International Group, DS expanded from a single villa to two villas and then seven as demand grew. In the early 1990s the school relocated to its current Al Qusais campus. Scholars International Group later expanded with additional schools, including Scholars International Academy in Sharjah (opened 2007) and Clarion School in Al Qouz (opened 2016). The Al Qusais campus covers about 200,000 square feet and is organized into zones for Early Years, Primary, and Secondary, with multiple libraries, a swimming pool, a sports field, labs and an auditorium.
Dubai Scholars Private School fosters a multicultural, student‑centered community. The school emphasizes trust, honesty, and mutual respect in daily interactions between students and staff. Student leadership and community involvement are encouraged through the Student Council, which aims to empower students and give them a voice in school life. Parents participate through the DS Parent Council, which acts as goodwill ambassadors, welcomes new families, and provides avenues for involvement in school life.
The DS Parent Council is comprised of Dubai Scholars parents who seek to make a difference in the DS community by serving as goodwill ambassadors for the school. Council members network with other parents, welcome them to the DS parent community, and educate fellow parents on the role and work of the council. If you would like to be part of this council please send your confirmation at dspac@dubaischolars.com. Quick links provide access to the Parent Portal and the DS Parent Council page to facilitate involvement in school life. The DS Parent Council also connects with the Parent Progressive Forum to support parent-led initiatives. It serves as a formal channel for parental involvement in school life.
