It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Uniforms are compulsory for all year groups. They may be purchased from Threads store in Times Square Mall, Dubai, or via Threads Online Store. Foundation Stage items include JPS shorts or JPS checked dress or JPS skort with a blue polo shirt and a house-colour hat; Year 1 to Year 6 wear a white shirt or blouse with a JPS logo, a blue tie or tartan necktie, appropriate bottoms, and a house-colour hat.
The school follows a Healthy Eating and Hygiene for Eating Policy, including a no-nut policy. Snack times are conducted with a structured snack process; healthy options such as vegetables, fruit, yoghurt, whole grains, and hummus are encouraged, while confectionery, sweets, and many processed snacks are restricted. Water is available throughout the day; fizzy drinks and high-sugar beverages are not permitted, and birthdays are typically not celebrated with cakes on site; staff educate and monitor healthy eating habits and provide guidance to families.
There are four houses: Gazelles (yellow), Leopards (green), Falcons (blue), and Camels (red). Each House has two Captains and two Deputy Captains (per House) elected by Year 3 to Year 6 students. The House system supports activities and competitions, and House groups are integrated into the school's Student Leadership framework through the Student Leadership Committee and related initiatives.
The school is part of the GEMS Education network. GEMS Jumeirah Primary School operates within the GEMS framework and branding, as reflected by its presentation as a GEMS school and references to GEMS Education in related pages.
