The school offers a bespoke curriculum based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage framework and the National Curriculum for England. It covers the Foundation Stage and the Primary Phase. The English curriculum aims to develop confident speakers, balanced readers and capable writers, and an ELL program supports learners whose first language is not English.
The Performing Arts are central to school life and are integrated into the curriculum. The school provides music and performing arts opportunities, including choir, musical theatre, various instrument groups and ukulele, celebrated in termly concerts. Visual Arts and related creative activities are offered, and an annual Arts Festival showcases student work.
Arabic is taught with Arabic A for Arabic speakers and Arabic B for non-Arabic speakers. Moral, Social and Cultural Studies is a core subject delivered as two strands: Social Studies and Moral Education, with emphasis on local and global citizenship and cultural awareness.
The After School Activity (ASA) Programme offers paid clubs organized through ESM and GEMS Academy Plus, with options including tennis, gymnastics, football, swimming, basketball, netball and karate. Year 1 to Year 6 participate in teacher-led after-school activities, with a wide range of clubs such as arts, dance, mindfulness, games and creative sessions.
The school hosts community groups such as Rainbows, Guides and Explorers. Camps and outdoor trips are offered for Year 4 to Year 6, providing experiential learning and teamwork through activities like kayaking, abseiling and hiking.
Enrichment comprises Enrichment Groups (Support and Gifted and Talented) and Enrichment Events, with opportunities to compete against other schools. Enrichment activities include chess, design technology, art,MasterChef-style cooking challenges, reading, elocution, debating and mathematics, and Junior Duke Awards. The Parents Association (PTA) engages parents in school life through events and class representative roles.
The campus features a multi-purpose sports hall, gymnasium, professional gymnastics equipment, outdoor spaces, a partly shaded 25-metre swimming pool and an infant pool, and an all-weather pitch. A comprehensive sports program for Years 3–6 includes inter-school fixtures. The school clinic is staffed by two Dubai Health Authority registered nurses and a full-time doctor, supporting student wellbeing.
