GEMS Winchester School – Dubai is located in Dubailand, near IMG Worlds of Adventure. The campus is described as being in Dubailand, near IMG Worlds of Adventure, Dubai. It relocated to its current Dubailand campus for Academic Year 2020–2021 to accommodate its growing student body.

Application fee

- The application fee for new students is AED 525 (inclusive of VAT). The application fee is refundable only if the school does not offer a place (unless registration is carried forward); it is non-refundable if a place is offered and declined; and it is not deductible from tuition.

Registration and re-registration deposits

- Registration deposit (payable on acceptance of an offer): 10% of the total tuition fees. This deposit is deductible from the annual tuition fees but is non-refundable.

- Re-registration deposit (to secure a seat for returning students): 5% of the total tuition fees. This deposit is deductible from the annual tuition fees but is non-refundable.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Tuition fees are invoiced and payable in advance, termly. Tuition is collected in three installments (one per term) at the start of each term. The standard split option is: Term 1 = 40% of annual tuition, Term 2 = 30%, Term 3 = 30%. Tuition may be invoiced from the time of admission.

- If a student was enrolled for two weeks or less, one month's fees will be deducted.
- If a student was enrolled for more than two weeks but less than one month, two months' fees will be deducted.
- If a student was enrolled for more than one month, a full term's fees will be deducted. Refund calculations are from the start of the term and from the date of the parent's official withdrawal request.

- Refund payment methods: refunds paid to credit-card payments are returned to the same card; cash refunds are issued by cheque or bank transfer.

Non-payment and withdrawal requirements

- Non-payment may result in withholding of examination entry, reports, references or examination results, temporary or permanent exclusion, and loss of place.

- Student withdrawal requires written notification to the Registrar. A 30-day notification period is required to complete withdrawal documentation.
