Founded in 1961, The Indian High School is the first and longest-standing Indian educational institution in the Gulf. It is part of The Indian High Group of Schools, which has a long-standing tradition of scholarly, artistic, and athletic excellence. The inception was laid on the belief of giving back to the community, offering education at an affordable price for Indian expatriates in the UAE. Indian High School Dubai is a not-for-profit day school operating at three campuses in Oud Metha, Al Garhoud and Dubai Silicon Oasis, serving students from age 3 to 18. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, aligned with MOE guidelines, with Arabic, Islamic Education and UAE Social Studies integrated where relevant. Optional electives include French, Computer Applications and Artificial Intelligence from grade 8, and Senior Secondary offers 21 subject combinations with career guidance and counselling. Facilities include a Library of around 30,000 books, Science Labs, and the Future Forward Leeway Lab with 3D printers, Raspberry Pi and Arduino boards, plus an F1-style CAD/CAM facility and a wind tunnel.
