From preschool through Grade 5, LFITM offers two learning pathways: a French–English bilingual pathway taught by native-speaking teachers and a standard French pathway, with early English exposure and Arabic introduction. Starting from Grade 6, students may join the American International Section (SIA), which continues the bilingual program and strengthens English through literature and history-geography. LFITM provides post-LFITM guidance with a dedicated guidance counselor, regular meetings with professionals and university representatives, and a pathway to leading international universities. The Harvard Young Leaders Program develops leadership, public speaking, project management, and critical thinking, and LFITM supports students as Young International Reporters to cover cultural, sports, and educational events.
LFITM provides cultural and artistic experiences through partnerships with the French Embassy, Institut Français, Sorbonne University, and Louvre Abu Dhabi. The Saadiyat Campus has an auditorium and facilities for performances, and projects such as From the Blank Page to the Stage. The Knowledge and Culture Hub (PCC) offers reading spaces (Marmothèque), a library and knowledge centers, and a three-language DEAR reading initiative in French, English, and Arabic.

The After-School Program offers a wide range of sports and cultural activities and is supported by modern facilities at the Saadiyat Campus, including an auditorium, swimming pool, gymnasiums, and courts for basketball, volleyball, and football. The program aims to develop personal growth, intellectual and physical abilities, and community participation. LFITM also promotes involvement in clubs and associations as part of its Leadership and Entrepreneurship focus.
The Parents' Association (APE) is a key partner in school and community life. It aims to promote the French language and student well-being, and to unite the community through events, while guiding parents in communications with the school. The school supports community engagement through clubs and associations and a culture of volunteer involvement.
LFITM offers the Harvard Young Leaders Program, a leadership development initiative in partnership with Harvard University, and provides a dedicated guidance counselor with regular meetings with university representatives and a pathway to international universities. Graduates participate in an Alumni Network that supports current students, and opportunities like Young International Reporters (JRI) foster leadership, communication, and event coverage.
LFITM has been rated Very Good by ADEK for quality of teaching and facilities. The Saadiyat Campus hosts an auditorium, swimming pool, gymnasiums, and sports courts to support fitness and team activities. The school emphasizes well-being of every member of the community and a caring, inclusive campus environment.
