It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
LFITM was founded in 2006. It began on the Al Bateen campus and later moved to a modern Saadiyat Island campus to accommodate growth. The Saadiyat campus serves Nursery through Terminale and offers two pathways: a bilingual French–English pathway and a standard French pathway. In September 2026–2027, the historic Al Bateen campus will reopen to welcome primary school students, subject to ADEK approval, complementing the Saadiyat campus. LFITM is part of the AFLEC network of French international schools.
LFITM hosts more than 1,750 students representing 59 nationalities, reflecting a multilingual and multicultural community. The school emphasizes culture through partnerships that provide a wide range of artistic and cultural projects, with art, music, sports, and creativity playing central roles in its educational approach. The school is active in community life, including graduation ceremonies; the Class of 2025 graduation demonstrated strong engagement with a 100% Baccalauréat success rate.
The Parents' Association (APE) is a team of volunteer parents reflecting the school's cultural diversity and actively involved in LFITM life. APE's objectives include promoting the French language and student well‑being, uniting the community through events and year‑end celebrations, guiding parental communication with the school, and representing parent interests in meetings and committees. Membership requires an annual contribution of 100 AED, payable by envelope at the school entrance or by emailing ape.ltm@aflec-fr.org. To join, provide your full name, the names and classes of your children, and your email address. APE can be reached at ape.ltm@aflec-fr.org.
