The Lyce9e Frane7ais Jean Mermoz Dubai opened in September 2017 with its historic Campus Nord in Al Quoz, welcoming students from preschool through the lycée. It operates within the AEFE network and delivers the French national curriculum as a French international school in Dubai. In September 2024/2025, the school opened a second campus, Campus Sud on Hessa Street, to support ongoing growth, initially serving all primary levels and expanding to include the entire secondary from September 2025. The campus expansion included extensions to accommodate a larger student body, with capacity for up to about 1,500 students.
The Lyce9e Frane7ais Jean Mermoz Dubai hosts a multicultural and multilingual community, with more than 50 nationalities represented among its students. The school offers a broad range of extracurricular activities, including The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, Brevet de9 Initiation Ae9ronautique (BIA), Le9 Acade9mie Sports, Le9 Acade9mie Musicale, Le9 Acade9mie de9checs, and other extracurricular activities. Students regularly participate in events outside the classroom, such as the Dubai Airshow 2025, and the school features ongoing news about activities like FERMUN, including twelve Terminale students participating in FERMUN in January 2026.
The Parents Association, Les Amis de Jean Mermoz, is a group of parent volunteers whose aim is to strengthen the link between the educational community and the parents and to contribute to the life of the school. In partnership with the establishment, it participates in major annual events such as International Day and the kermesse, and it helps welcome new parents to the LFJM community. The association also organizes breakfasts or dinners to bring parents together and foster social connections among families.
