The school follows the Cambridge Curriculum, mapped to the English National Curriculum. Teaching focuses on enquiry-based learning, skills development, research, and deepening subject knowledge. A wide range of subjects is taught, including English, Mathematics, Science, Computing, Humanities (History & Geography), Art & Design, Music, Physical Education, French as a foreign language, Arabic A for Arabs, Arabic B for Non-Arabs, Islamic Studies for Muslims, and Moral, Social & Cultural Studies. The Cambridge Curriculum supports Cambridge Learner Attributes such as being confident, responsible, reflective, innovative, and engaged.
Art and music are integrated into the curriculum and supported by dedicated facilities. The school has fully equipped music classrooms and an art room. The curriculum includes Art & Design and Music, fostering creative expression within the Cambridge framework.
French is taught as a foreign language, and Arabic A for Arabs and Arabic B for Non-Arabs are part of language provision. Islamic Studies is offered for Muslim students. NDPS promotes cultural diversity and inclusivity within a diverse, global community.
After-school activities are available as an optional extra, with a fee (AED 1,200 per term). The school provides spaces for activity and social interaction, including an Activity Room and outdoor spaces such as a football field and an indoor sports hall to support clubs and recreational groups.
