PBS requires a daily uniform for all pupils: girls wear a PBS dress or PBS shirt with logo and a fleece jacket, with blue, white or black headscarves and black culottes for primary/early years; boys wear black trousers or shorts with a PBS shirt and fleece jacket. The PE kit is house-coloured and includes a T-shirt with track pants, and swimming kit is a black or blue swimsuit with a swimming cap; hair, jewellery and makeup rules apply. The Uniform Policy was last amended in September 2023.
PBS uses a house system. Students are assigned to a house during the registration process, and PE T-shirts are in house colours to indicate house membership. For special events where students represent the school, a white shirt with smart uniform is encouraged.
PBS is part of the Pace Education group. The Pace Group started in 1999 as the P.A. Educational Trust and now operates 18 educational institutions with over 23,000 students; PBS is registered as Pace British School LLC in the UAE.
