Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

The PACE Education Group was founded in 1999 by Dr. P.A. Ibrahim Haji, forming the P.A. Educational Trust. The group expanded into the United Arab Emirates, starting with Gulf Asian English School in Sharjah (KG–12) in 2003. PACE British School, Sharjah was established in 2019 as part of the group's Sharjah portfolio, and the campus is located in School Zone, Muweilah, Sharjah. PBS Sharjah operates as a single-shift campus with separate wings for boys and girls. PBS Sharjah is part of the PACE Education Group's network of schools in the UAE and beyond.

PACE British School, Sharjah is part of a diverse and international school community, with a focus on bringing together students, parents, and teachers in a supportive network. The PACE Silver Jubilee celebrations kicked off on October 7, 2025 at PBS Sharjah and involved students from 25 countries, highlighting the network's cultural diversity and collaborative spirit. The group notes regular community-focused activities, including charity drives and inter-school events across its campuses. PBS highlights regular community events such as school plays, cultural celebrations, and parent-teacher conferences, reflecting active family engagement across the school. Parent-Teacher Association

PACE British School describes a strong school community where parents and teachers collaborate through regular events, including school plays, cultural celebrations, and parent-teacher conferences. The Shahrajah-based PBS page notes that parent conferences are part of formal parent engagement, reinforcing a structured channel for parent–teacher collaboration. The Silver Jubilee event vehicle—banner drops and logo design activities—demonstrates extensive family and student involvement across the network. Overall, PBS facilitates parent involvement through conferences, volunteer opportunities, and family-focused celebrations as part of its ongoing community engagement.
