Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School Sharjah was established in September 1974 by Mr. Mahmood Akhtar Kiyani. It was previously known as Pakistan Muslim High School. The present campus was built on land donated by His Highness Sheikh Muhammad Al-Qasmi in March 1977. The original Board of Governors was chaired by Dr. Ghulam Hussain Jaffer, with Mr. Gulzar Ahmed Qureshi as secretary. The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary level, and Group Captain Sulaiman Kiyani (late) was appointed as the new Principal.
