RIS follows the National Curriculum for England and Wales and offers GCSE/IGCSE options in Years 10–11. In Years 12–13, students may pursue the A-level pathway or a BTEC course. The Sixth Form also includes Duke of Edinburgh awards and opportunities for local and international work experience. English is the language of instruction, with language support; Arabic, French, Mandarin and Spanish are taught as MFL options from Year 3, alongside mother tongue programmes for native language speakers.
RIS provides a dedicated music suite, drama spaces and art rooms with supporting IT facilities. The co-curricular programme includes a wide range of artistic clubs and daily activities. Many RIS students represent the school in local, national and international competitions.
English is the language of instruction with a strong Arabic programme and MFL options in French, Mandarin and Spanish from Year 3.
