Uniforms are supplied by Trutex and ordered online using the school codes SISAT-0020 (Primary) and SISAQ-0021 (Secondary). EYFS–Year 6 wear day uniforms (polo shirt, jumper and skirt for girls or trousers for boys) and sportswear; Years 7–11 add a house T-shirt, with Year 12–13 continuing in day wear. House T-shirts come in Canary, Emerald, Royal and Scarlet, and uniforms can be collected from Cityland Mall or delivered.
On-site catering is provided through a canteen lunch service. There is a lunch hall on the Secondary Campus where students have meals; meals are described as healthy.
Star International School Al Twar uses a four-house system; every student and staff member belongs to one of the houses. Points are earned across sports, academics, creativity and values, with annual events such as Sports Day, oratory competitions and talent shows.
The school is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP) network; governance and ownership are provided by ISP as part of a group of schools.
