Fees
Application / Registration / Enrolment fees
- Application / assessment fee: AED 500 (non-refundable).
- Enrolment deposit at acceptance: 10% of the tuition fees for the forthcoming academic year, payable within seven days of receiving an offer; this enrolment deposit is deductible from the first term's tuition but is non-refundable unless the family must move outside the Emirate of Dubai before the academic year starts. For continuing pupils, a re‑enrolment fee of 5% is payable to guarantee the next year; this is deductible from the first term fees and non-refundable except where the family relocates outside the Emirate.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Term due dates for AY 2025/26: Term 1 fees due 01 August 2025; Term 2 fees due 01 December 2025; Term 3 fees due 01 March 2026.
- Fees are paid in three instalments (termly). Term 1 fees must be paid in full by the Term 1 due date; Term 2 and Term 3 fees must be paid by their respective due dates.
- Failure to meet payment timelines may lead to withholding of termly/annual reports, issuance of payment notices and, if unpaid, suspension or refusal to re‑register the child for the following academic year in line with KHDA regulations. Returned cheques incur a penalty of AED 250 and the school reserves the right to take legal action for bounced/returned cheques. Discounts are reflected on the last term invoice and apply only if the student completes a full academic year.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. No boarding fees are listed; the school operates across day campuses and provides day-school facilities and transport services rather than boarding accommodation.
Other costs and separately charged items
- Annual consumables / other charges (exercise book, STEAM contribution, stationery) are charged per year group. Examples (AY 2025/26):
- FS1 / FS2 — Total others: AED 1,550 per year.
- Year 1 / Year 2 — Total others: AED 2,050 per year.
- Year 3 — AED 2,200; Year 4 — AED 2,250; Year 5/6 — AED 2,350; Years 7–9 — AED 2,900; Year 10 — AED 3,800; Year 11 — AED 3,850; Years 12–13 — AED 4,050.
- Exam and course fees (GCSE, A Level, BTEC) and standardised assessments (CAT4, NGRT, GL assessments, ABT/IBT) are charged separately.
- Uniforms, on‑site catering, transportation and some trips/events are provided by third parties and are charged separately.
Refund information
- Refund calculations: If a pupil attends two weeks or less, one full month's fees are charged. If attendance is more than two weeks and less than one month, two full months' fees are charged. If attendance is more than one month, fees are charged for the full term. The monthly fee value is calculated by dividing the total annual tuition fee by ten. Refund processing may take up to 30 days.
Fee payment options
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (bank details and IBANs are provided in the school's fee policy), cheques (payable to Star International School), cash, debit/credit card and online payment channels. For bank transfers, families are requested to include pupil name, year group and pupil ID on the remittance advice.
