The Millennium School offers co-curricular activities that extend learning beyond the classroom and support skill development in leadership, collaboration and problem solving. It follows Round Square IDEALS (Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service) through exchanges, conferences and collaborative projects. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Programme is an active Independent Award Centre with Bronze, Silver and Gold levels, and the first Bronze cohort was recognised in 2022. The Innovation Hub (ICE) in the Primary School and Zone Millennia in the Kindergarten foster invention, creativity and practical making.
Arts and creativity are integrated into co-curricular activities through events such as Cultural Confluence, which celebrates culture and heritage through dance and drama. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Programme includes skills such as painting and playing musical instruments, alongside coding and modelling. The school supports creativity and project work through the Innovation Hub and Zone Millennia.
The HIM Academy Exchange Program provides international exchange opportunities, and Generation Global enables video conferences with peers in other countries to discuss global issues. Cultural Confluence features dance and drama to share heritage and traditions. Model United Nations and other Round Square activities foster cross-cultural understanding and global citizenship.
Best Buddies connects students with peers at Manzil School to develop social and inclusion skills. Student-led events include a Winter Carnival and involvement in community festivities such as UTSAV and Manthan. The school also conducts charity and wellbeing-oriented activities, fostering social engagement and informal interest groups.
Community service and volunteering are core components, including the Best Buddies partnership with Manzil School, literacy-based Adopt a School initiatives, and other service projects such as Family Day, The Ramadan Fridge and Blood Donation Drives. Students participate in national and international philanthropic activities and school-wide charitable campaigns. The school recognises and supports student-led service projects through events and collaborations with external organisations.
Leadership development is supported by structured student roles and opportunities to influence school improvement. The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Programme builds leadership skills through volunteering, planning and teamwork, while Model United Nations cultivates public speaking, diplomacy and collaboration.
