The New Filipino Private School was among the first Filipino schools in the United Arab Emirates licensed to operate with the Filipino Curriculum by the UAE Ministry of Education in Sharjah in September 1996 and by the Philippine Department of Education on 15 October 1996. It was founded by Ms. Aghsan Musa and family, and its first year of operation began on 14 September 1996 with twenty-one teachers recruited from Manila schools. The school is located in Dasman, Sharjah, accessible to Filipino communities in Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah. On September 12, 2022, NFPS was acquired by new owners Mr. Ahmed Alansaari and Mrs. Maria Teresa Sales Alansaari. NFPS continues to operate as a Filipino school in the UAE.
