The Sheffield Private School sits on a large open campus that combines generous outdoor sports facilities with specialised teaching spaces. The building is a three-storey, air-conditioned facility. The ground floor houses the administrative centre as well as Foundation Stage and Year 1 classrooms. Classrooms are equipped with digital projectors, interactive whiteboards and high-speed wifi to support teaching and learning, and Primary and Secondary students benefit from dedicated ICT, Art and Science spaces in addition to large open classrooms. The campus is designed to support a modern, technology-enabled learning environment with flexible spaces for a wide range of lessons and activities.
Outside sports areas include covered netball courts and AstroTurf football and hockey pitches. A large covered five-lane swimming pool and a separate learner pool are temperature-controlled and have separate changing rooms for boys and girls. The Auditorium Hall supports volleyball, badminton and basketball and includes a multimedia facility and a gymnastics floor system. The campus provides a integrated sports and PE environment to support both curricular and co-curricular activities.
Three fully equipped ICT suites provide computer access for all students, and each student has an individual computer. All classrooms feature networked computers, tablets, projectors and Interactive Smart Boards, with high-speed wifi enabling online resources and video streaming during lessons. Primary and Secondary students also benefit from dedicated ICT, Art and Science teaching spaces in addition to large open classrooms. A dedicated Library supports reading and research with a qualified Librarian on hand to assist students. The school's ICT, Art and Science facilities complement general classrooms to support a broad range of subjects.
The enrichment program provides top-up classes and interventions to support diverse learning needs. The Student Life section includes a House System and a Student Leadership Team, and the school runs events such as TED X as part of its enrichment. The Ultra Curriculum expands opportunities beyond standard lessons. The Auditorium Hall, Art Studio and Music Room support creative and performing arts as extracurricular activities.
