Islamic and Quran recitation competitions are recognized as part of the school's faith and cultural programs.
Woodlem British School operates a Student & Parent Council (PTA) that is actively involved in decision-making and school life. The Council provides a formal channel for parent input on school initiatives and priorities. Parents participate through the Council in school life and events connected to student welfare and school programs. The Council is connected to broader community engagement efforts, including UAE Red Crescent and the National Scout Organization, offering opportunities for parent participation in service and leadership programs. Faith and cultural programs, including Islamic and Quran recitation competitions, are part of school life that parents may support through the Council. Innovation and technology initiatives such as Apple App Development Competition, MOE AI National Championship, ADNOC STEM Challenge, and Mubarmij50 Coding Initiative illustrate the scope of student work that the PTA helps to celebrate and promote. Creative achievements in art, digital design, and public speaking focused on environmental awareness show the holistic development the PTA supports.
