The school offers a bespoke education across its Years 7-11 campus, the International School, and the Sixth Form, anchored in the English National Curriculum. In Sixth Form, students can choose from 38 traditional A-level subjects, plus BTECs or Level 3 equivalents, or the UAL Creative Arts Foundation. Students may also study the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and all Level 3 qualifications hold the same academic value as A Levels. The school supports strong university progression, including places at University College London, Oxford, and the London School of Economics, and is rated excellent by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
The Arts Centre opened in 2021 and offers state of the art facilities for art, theatre, and music. Cohen Hall hosts performing arts and instrumental teaching, with a 200-seat auditorium. The arts facilities include a dark room, workshops, kiln, and dedicated spaces for creativity. The school collaborates with MIT and The Juilliard School to integrate STEAM and performing arts across the curriculum.
The International School hosts students from more than 40 countries, creating a diverse cultural community. The Nord Anglia Education network connects the school to global opportunities and collaborations. Model United Nations and other international activities help students develop listening and persuasive communication and understand global issues.
There are more than 50 co curricular activities, including coding, knitting, Lego, ice hockey, polo, and tennis. Boarders enjoy evenings and weekends with activities ranging from theme parks to cultural trips into London and Bath. A wide range of clubs and hobby groups encourages interests beyond the classroom.
Students participate in community service and volunteering, including collecting supplies for a food bank and running a book drive for a children's charity. They take part in social responsibility projects via the Global Campus digital platform and undertake the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award. These initiatives drive tangible change in local and international communities.
The Higher Education and Careers Team provides guidance on university applications and future pathways. The House system and regular House events foster leadership, teamwork, and a sense of community. An open door policy and parent portal give families access to school leadership.
The school places happiness and wellbeing at the centre of student life and runs a comprehensive PSHE programme. Students have access to University of Oxford sports facilities, including a pool, all weather pitch, and gym, and they can participate in a Tennis Academy. Six boarding houses provide safe, supportive accommodation for boarders.
