Windermere School is a co-educational independent school in the Lake District, offering day, weekly, and full boarding from age 3 to 18. The school offers GCSEs in the Senior School and the International Baccalaureate Diploma and IB Career-Related Programme in the Sixth Form, along with vocational qualifications and a Pre-IB course. Named in the Sunday Times Top Ten Parent Power Survey and in the Top 60 for Sixth Form results nationally, the school is known for its adventure-based learning, sailing, watersports, and outdoor education. It is a Round Square member and hosts the RYA British Youth Sailing Club. A Forest School programme runs in the prep and pre-prep.
