Begin Your AIS Journey. We are currently accepting admissions for the 2026-27 school year and can also consider applications for the remainder of the 2026 school year based on grade-level capacity. We would love to hear from your family, so please submit an inquiry to begin your AIS journey. Inquiries lead to setting up an account on the AIS Admissions Portal to complete your application and upload all documentation.
Step 1: Submit Inquiry and Create a Veracross Account. Submit an Inquiry; within 24 hours from submission you will receive an automated email prompting you to create an account on the AIS Admissions Portal. Create your account on the AIS Admissions Portal and begin your application.
Step 2: Request Required Documents from Child's Current School. All required documents are listed as you move through the Application process. Login to your Admissions Portal and delegate the appropriate teacher evaluation forms to your child's current school. Please print the Transcript Release Form and take it directly to your child's current school. The teacher will then send your child's transcripts from this school year and last directly to AIS.
Step 3: Schedule a Visit. There are many ways to engage with Atlanta International School and our community, including during the admission season. We encourage you to participate in a tour, Information Session or Open House. Applicant Screening Days are a required part of the application process for all grade levels. We hold in-person screenings for local applicants during the regular admission session and virtually for out-of-state/international families. Dates for all events can be found on Tours & Events, and all events can be scheduled in advance via your Admissions Portal.
Step 4: Notification of Admission Decision. All families will be notified of their admission decision, and financial aid award if applicable, on April 4, 2026 through your AIS Admissions Portal.
Step 5: Applicant Response. All families must notify AIS of their enrollment decision by April 14, 2026.

AIS is committed to providing financial assistance to admit and retain qualified students as budgets allow. In the 2025-26 school year we provided over $4 million in financial assistance to our families. The application process for admission is independent of the application process for financial aid. Financial aid is based on documented financial need. We partner with Clarity in our financial aid application process. Clarity provides analysis which generates an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) that is a critical component of AIS' financial aid decision. AIS uses the EFC as a baseline; however, AIS must take into consideration the total financial aid budget and the school's policies and priorities. Therefore, the financial aid awarded to a family may not meet the demonstrated need documented by Clarity. All financial aid applications are subject to verification, and should discrepancies be discovered in the information provided to the Financial Aid Committee, we reserve the right to withdraw financial assistance at any time during the school year. Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines 2025-26: October 1, 2025 (Families can begin the financial aid application); February 15, 2026 (Recommended deadline for completing Clarity application and uploading documents); March 1, 2026 (Completed application and supporting documents due in Clarity; allow 48 hours for processing); April 4, 2026 (Decisions on awards emailed to families); New and renewal applications completed after March 1, 2026 go through the appeals process if funds remain available.
Financial Aid Application Requirements 2025-2026: 1) Submit online application via Clarity; 2) Upload copies of 2025 W2s/1099s and supporting documents by March 1; 3) Upload two months of bank statements; 4) Upload copies of investment account statements; 5) Upload documentation for any medical/dental/unusual expenses; 6) For owners with 20%+ shares, submit Forms 1120S/1065 with Schedule K-1s by May 1; 7) Official Tuition Statement for children at other tuition-charging schools; 8) IRS Form 1098-T if higher education expenses apply. AIS participates in the Georgia Tax Credit Program GOAL and eligible students who receive a financial aid award may be asked to submit information to receive a GA GOAL scholarship.
