Application & Enrollment fees
- Application fee: USD 100 per student. This fee is non-refundable.
- Matriculation (one-time) fee charged to each new student at enrollment: First student USD 3,750; Second student USD 2,750; Third and subsequent students USD 1,750.

Billing schedule and payment terms (payment plan details and due dates)

- Books and some technology are supplied; charges for extended field trips and similar activities are billed as due.
- A 2% tuition discount is applied when tuition is paid by cash, check, or bank transfer (applies only to the tuition balance). Convenience fees are assessed by the payment gateway for credit-card payments and vary by card type.
- Option A — One-Payment Plan:
- Includes the USD 2,000 advance tuition deposit (all grades) and the USD 250 technology fee for students in Grades 5K–8 (where applicable).
- Amounts due with the enrollment contract (total deposits & fees) and the remaining balance due July 1, 2026:
- 3K–4K: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,000; balance due July 1, 2026 USD 30,364.
- 5K–Grade 4: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,250; balance due July 1, 2026 USD 30,364.
- Grade 5–8: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,250; balance due July 1, 2026 USD 33,442.
- Grade 9–12: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,000; balance due July 1, 2026 USD 34,947.
- Option B — Eight-Payment Plan:
- Includes an USD 800 administrative fee (all grades), the USD 2,000 advance tuition deposit (all grades), and the USD 250 technology fee for Grades 5K–8 (where applicable).
- Deposits & fees due with the enrollment contract and the monthly installment amount (payments scheduled July 1, 2026 to February 1, 2027):
- 3K–4K: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,800; monthly amount USD 3,795.50.
- 5K–Grade 4: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 3,050; monthly amount USD 3,795.50.
- Grade 5–8: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 3,050; monthly amount USD 4,180.25.
- Grade 9–12: Deposits & fees due with contract USD 2,800; monthly amount USD 4,368.38.
- Option C — Ten-Payment Plan (available only to financial aid recipients):
- Includes an USD 800 administrative fee (all grades), the USD 250 technology fee for Grades 5K–8 (where applicable), and a USD 200 advance tuition deposit (all grades).
- Deposits & fees due with the enrollment contract by grade: 3K–4K USD 1,000; 5K–Grade 4 USD 1,250; Grade 5–8 USD 1,250; Grade 9–12 USD 1,000. Monthly installments are scheduled July 1, 2026 to April 1, 2027 and vary based on the financial aid award.
- Payment authorization and methods by plan:
- Option A payments may be made by cash, wire transfer, personal check drawn on a U.S. bank, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, or American Express.
- Options B and C require authorization of direct electronic payment from a U.S. checking account or by credit card; Option C is limited to financial aid recipients.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable. International students who require an I-20 must live with a relative or guardian; in the event a consulate does not grant a student visa, only enrollment fees will be refunded.
Other costs and optional fees
- Technology fee: USD 250 annually for students in Grades 5K–Grade 8.
- Administrative fee: USD 800 applies under payment plans B and C where noted.
- Tuition Refund Insurance (TRI): Available through a third-party provider and optional for all payment plans; premium is charged with the enrollment deposit or administrative fee where applicable. The TRI premium rate is 3.1% of total tuition; sample premium amounts: 3K–4K USD 1,003.28; 5K–Grade 4 USD 1,003.28; Grade 5–8 USD 1,098.70; Grade 9–12 USD 1,145.36.
- Meal plans (optional, Buckhead Campus): Primary School annual meal plan USD 2,306; Secondary School annual meal plan USD 2,835. Meal-plan fees are billed in July.
- Extended field trips and certain experiential learning charges are billed separately as they occur.
- Uniforms: A daily school uniform is not required; AIS sportswear and other apparel are available for purchase through the school supplier.
- Summer camps and similar programs have separate registration fees and cancellation terms (for example, summer camp registrations include a non-refundable registration fee of USD 100 per camp and specific cancellation/refund deadlines).
Refund information
- Application fee (USD 100) is non-refundable.
- In the event a consulate does not grant a student visa after admission, only enrollment fees will be refunded.
- Tuition Refund Insurance is offered as an optional mechanism to protect tuition payments; the TRI premium is payable with the enrollment deposit and administrative fee where applicable. Refunds under TRI are subject to the third-party provider's policy.

Atlanta International School is a private, nonprofit IB World School serving 3K through Grade 12 with campuses in Buckhead and Sandy Springs. The school offers the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) and the Career-related Programme, alongside full and dual-immersion language initiatives to develop multilingual proficiency. AISx Flexible Schedule supports Grades 6–12 with in-person or remote options while maintaining IB coursework. Language study includes Chinese, French, German and Spanish, with English as an Additional Language support and heritage language offerings. The Sandy Springs campus, opened in 2024, features Mouratoglou Tennis Academy Atlanta, a riverfront site, residential facilities, and a Great Hall, River House, and a quad. It houses four tennis courts and extensive outdoor recreation. The school emphasizes hands-on learning through Makerspaces, science labs, design studios and an art loft, with a library. The program includes Global and Experiential Learning and Creativity, Activity, Service as part of the IB framework.
