The school operates on two campuses, Buckhead and Sandy Springs. The Buckhead Campus houses AIS programs from 3K through upper grades with classrooms and arts spaces. The Sandy Springs Campus is a 25-acre wooded site on the banks of the Chattahoochee River that opened in August 2024 and hosts the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy Atlanta, residential facilities, summer camps, and outdoor-learning programs. It features River House for events, the Great Hall, a quad, and an overlook for study and social spaces. The Sandy Springs Campus provides 70 residential accommodation spaces.
The Sandy Springs Campus has four brand-new tennis courts for training and competition. The Mouratoglou Academy Atlanta partnership delivers high-level tennis coaching integrated with AIS's academics. AIS also offers athletics and physical education across the IB curriculum, including Primary through Upper School programs. The campus provides extensive recreational and sporting spaces to support both indoor and outdoor activities.
The school provides dedicated Makerspaces for Primary and Secondary Schools, with 3D printing, laser cutting, and hands-on projects. In addition, science laboratories, design studios, and an art loft support practical work across subjects. The AIS library offers print and digital resources in English, Chinese, French, German, and Spanish, plus materials in more than twenty other languages to support heritage language programs. The Buckhead and Sandy Springs campuses host the International Baccalaureate curriculum across Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma programs.
The extracurricular program includes after-school activities such as music, athletics, language clubs, and enrichment programs across both campuses. AIS Junior Eagles Athletics and regular Physical Education classes complement the IB curriculum for younger students. Mouratoglou Academy Atlanta at the Sandy Springs Campus provides extended tennis training alongside academics. AIS also runs summer camps and heritage language programs.
Atlanta International School is a private, nonprofit IB World School serving 3K through Grade 12 with campuses in Buckhead and Sandy Springs. The school offers the full IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) and the Career-related Programme, alongside full and dual-immersion language initiatives to develop multilingual proficiency. AISx Flexible Schedule supports Grades 6–12 with in-person or remote options while maintaining IB coursework. Language study includes Chinese, French, German and Spanish, with English as an Additional Language support and heritage language offerings.
