Beacon Academy is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board is comprised of parents, alumni parents, and community members, and always includes at least one Montessori educator. It is governed by bylaws, sets long-range strategic plans, and oversees the fiscal health of the school. The Board's key responsibilities include the selection, support, and evaluation of the Head of School, as well as Head of School succession planning.
