Boca Prep International School was acquired by SEK International Education System in 1999. The school is part of the SEK-IES network of schools and universities. In 2025 Ms. Mónica Segovia assumed the presidency of SEK and IES.

The campus provides outdoor facilities including a track, a soccer field, a beach volleyball court, and a basketball facility to support a holistic approach to learning that blends academics with athletics and the arts. The DP leads to six subjects (three HL, three SL) plus Theory of Knowledge, an Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service, preparing students for university study worldwide. Extra programs include a Performance Program, and partnerships with RipTide Volleyball Club, Don Law Golf, and Rick Macci Tennis Academy. Clubs support student leadership.
