The British International School of Charlotte (BIS Charlotte) on the Ballantyne campus serves students from 18 months to 18 years and is part of Nord Anglia Education. It uses a blended curriculum: Primary follows the English National Curriculum with IPC; Lower Secondary combines EN with IMYC; Upper Secondary offers the IB Diploma. In Years 12–13, students take six IB subjects (three Higher Level and three Standard Level), including a literature-based language course, a second language, social science, science, mathematics, and an elective. Classes are small—about ten students per teacher and taught by UK-trained staff. Facilities include a Maker Space with 3D printers, VR, drones, Spheros, and programmable robots; the IB Suite for Years 12–13; a dance studio and a Black Box Drama Studio; a gym, tennis and basketball courts, and an athletics field. MIT STEAM activities and performing arts enrich the extracurricular program. Nord Anglia programs with Juilliard, MIT, and UNICEF provide opportunities.
