Admissions
Step 1. Submit the online application with the non-refundable fee of $150. Applications are submitted through the admissions portal, which guides applicants through grade-specific requirements. The fee is non-refundable. After submission, the file enters the Admissions Committee review process.

Step 2. Provide required recommendations and records according to grade level. Lower School requires a Teacher Recommendation, Progress Report (Kindergarten) or School Records (Grades 1-4), and a Third-Party Assessment. Middle School requires an Administrator Recommendation and Teacher Recommendations (Grades 5-6) or English and Math Teacher Recommendations (Grades 7-8), along with School Records. Step 3. Complete testing and assessments as required by grade level. Middle School uses Admission Testing on December 12, 2026 or January 11, 2027. Upper School uses Testing on December 12, 2026 or January 9, 2027 for rising Grade 9, with options related to previously taken tests; Lower School relies on a Third-Party Assessment. Step 4. Participate in Applicant Visit and Parent Interview. Lower School includes an Applicant Visit for rising Grade 4 and Group Visits on January 9 or January 11. Middle School requires an Applicant Visit and a Parent Interview. Upper School requires an Applicant Visit and a Parent Interview. International Students may have a virtual interview option.

Step 5. Complete all steps by January 31 to receive an admission decision the first week of March. All steps must be completed before the file can be presented to the Admission Committee. Applicants with complete files by January 31 will be notified of admission the first week of March by email. Following January 31, decisions are made based on space availability.

Step 6. Understand late applications and rolling admissions. Applications received after January 15 are considered late applicants. Late applicants must complete their files to be considered for rolling admissions, and interviews or entrance exams are only conducted if space is available. If space remains unavailable, the application may roll over to the following admission season. Acceptance may be offered to a qualified late applicant over the wait pool.

Step 7. International Students specifics. International Students complete an application with a non-refundable fee, provide Teacher Recommendations and School Records, and may undergo Admission Testing or a Third-Party Assessment. An Applicant and Parent Interview may be scheduled virtually. CCES will process the I-20 Student Visa Form for students seeking an F-1 visa, and CCES does not provide host families or work with outside agencies.
