Admissions

Admissions

Step 1: Submit Application. After you submit the Inquiry form, you can continue to apply via the SchoolAdmin online application. You will be required to provide your current grades and a transcript from the last two years, plus recommendations from your current math and English teachers. Foxcroft Academy offers test-optional admissions, but if there are test results (TOEFL, PSAT, SSAT, ACT) that help us understand you better, you may share them via the online application. Step 2: Interview. After submitting your application materials, an Admissions Interview is conducted, in-person or online via Zoom to better understand your goals, needs, and interests. If you would like to visit in person, you can schedule a campus tour. Step 3: Rolling Admissions and Early Commitment. Foxcroft Academy offers Rolling Admissions, meaning space permitting, applications are considered now or as soon as you are ready. Apply early to receive a priority answer about next year, and an early decision commitment reserves your spot and helps with planning. Additional notes: Admissions requirements include a demonstrated desire for learning and a solid level of achievement (a B average in a rigorous college preparatory curriculum), and all applicants must have an interview with an admissions counselor (phone or in‑person). Admissions is test-optional, but sharing relevant test scores is welcome if it informs the process. For international boarding students, there are minimum TOEFL iBT, IELTS, and SSAT benchmarks by grade level. A campus visit is not required but is strongly suggested, and if a visit is not possible an online interview is available. ESL instruction is provided to all international students as part of the regular curriculum. The annual tuition is $54,000 and includes tuition, room & board, meals, student health insurance, ESL courses, laundry, bedding, technology fees, an iPad for the year, transportation to/from Bangor International Airport, and standardized testing (SAT and AP where applicable).
