International Academy teaches IB (MYP), IB (DP) for students aged 14 to 18.
The International Academy is the only all-IB public high school in North America. Grades 9-10 follow the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) with eight subject areas: English, Language B, Humanities, Science, Math, Arts, Physical Education, and Technology, culminating in a Personal Project in grade 10. Grades 11-12 follow the IB Diploma Programme (DP) with six subject groups plus Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). Sciences include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Systems. Arts include Visual Arts with studio work in drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, and sculpture.
