Students are required to wear a school uniform. Approved uniform providers are Educational Outfitters, Lands' End, and French Toast. Polo shirts purchased from non-approved vendors must be embroidered with the ICSAtlanta logo at designated embroidery locations to maintain logo consistency.
Students bring a lunch and snack from home each day; ICSAtlanta does not offer a food service program.
ICSAtlanta is a state charter school governed by its own Governing Board. A Charter Petition was submitted to the State Charter School Commission on May 15, 2014, and a Charter Contract is in effect for 2025-2030. The school operates across two campuses: the Lower Campus (K-3) in Roswell and the Upper Campus (4-8) in Alpharetta.
International Charter School of Atlanta (ICSAtlanta) is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) for kindergarten through grade 5 and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6–8, with campuses in Roswell and Alpharetta. The Lower Campus serves K–3 in Roswell, while the Upper Campus houses 4–8 in Alpharetta. The school runs a dual-language immersion program with instruction in French, German, Mandarin, and Spanish, taught by native teachers. In K–5, about half of instruction is in the second language and half in English; in 6–8, two classes per day are taught in the second language. All four languages are offered across grades. The curriculum uses Georgia Standards in ELA, mathematics, science, and social studies within the IB framework. Opened as a state charter in 2014; the charter contract covers 2025–2030. Extras include ASP for K–6, Reading Bowl teams, and a daily Connections Rotation featuring Arts and Design.
