Overview — Tuition and general status
- International Charter School of Atlanta (ICSAtlanta) is a public, state charter K–8 school and does not charge annual tuition for enrolled Georgia-resident students; there are no school-year tuition charges by grade or term.
Application fees
- There is no charge to apply through the school's admissions process; the language proficiency assessment (STAMP) required for some grade-level entry carries no cost.
Tuition fees by year group / term
- Grades K–8: No tuition is charged. There are no term or annual tuition fees for any year group. (Optional, fee-based programs are listed separately below.)
After‑school program (ASP) — registration, billing schedule and payment terms
- Registration fee: An initial ASP registration fee is charged to reserve a spot; current registration information published by the school indicates a registration fee in the ASP program materials (examples of the program pages show registration-fee handling and amounts).
- Billing schedule and frequency: ASP is a prepaid program. Weekly or monthly options are offered; once registered, payments are processed automatically (weekly payments are processed on Mondays using the debit/credit card on file). Monthly and semester registration windows are published for each enrollment period.
- Payment terms: A debit/credit card must be placed on file in the ASP parent portal; the card on file is used for automatic processing of ASP charges. Refunds and credits are generally not issued for days not attended; the registration fee may be forfeited if a selected family declines attendance after selection.
Clubs, camps and other optional activity fees
- Clubs: Many onsite clubs carry a participation fee (the school's club guidance shows a typical club fee such as USD 99 per club, with some specialized or year‑long clubs carrying higher fees). Club fees must be paid by the published deadline and refunds are not issued after the first day of the club.
- Break / holiday camps: Camps are run as separate, prepaid programs with published weekly fees (example: a prior week-long camp fee shown was USD 240 per week) and weekly camp tuition payments are non-refundable.
- Other activities: The school notes that onsite activities and special programs may be offered for a fee; specific fees and deadlines for those programs are published when those offerings are available.
Uniforms and related costs
- Uniform requirement: Students are required to wear a school uniform. Approved uniform vendors are named (for example, Lands' End, French Toast, and Educational Outfitters); families must purchase uniforms from approved providers or have approved embroidery applied. Prices for uniform items are set by the approved vendors and are not listed as a school-controlled fee.
Boarding / residential fees
- Not applicable. ICSAtlanta is a K–8 day, public charter school (regular school hours are published for the Lower and Upper campuses) and it does not operate a boarding or residential program.
Refund and cancellation policies (selected programs)
- ASP: The program is prepaid; the ASP policy requires a card on file and specifies that refunds or credits are not issued for days not attended and that registration fees may be forfeited under the conditions described in the ASP registration materials.
- Clubs: Club fees must be paid by the posted deadline; refunds will not be issued after the first day of the club.
- Camps: Weekly camp tuition payments are non-refundable.
Fee payment options and mechanics
- Online card processing: Optional-program payments (ASP, clubs, camps and similar activities) are processed online. ASP specifically requires a debit/credit card on file in the ASP parent portal and uses that card for automatic charges; club and camp payments are collected via the payment links or portals the school provides to enrolled families.
Summary — what parents should expect to pay
- No tuition or application fee for K–8 enrollment as a Georgia public charter school; no boarding fees.
- Payable items are optional or program-specific: ASP registration and recurring ASP tuition (prepaid, card on file), club participation fees (example amounts shown in school materials such as USD 99 or higher for special teams), and camp fees (example: USD 240 per week). Uniform purchases are required but priced by external uniform vendors. Refund and cancellation rules differ by program (ASP, clubs, camps) and are stated in each program's registration materials.
