ISDenver provides service-learning opportunities throughout the year, including volunteer activities that involve families. G8 students complete community service projects, and the school runs an international service-learning trip in the spring to Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Belize, and Panama. The program emphasizes authentic, curriculum-tied projects and fostering empathy and global citizenship.
Leadership development is offered through Leadership Corps—Counselor-in-Training camps for seventh through tenth graders, providing leadership experiences and CPR certification. The school also supports family involvement through the Dragon Parents Association and related volunteer committees. Summer and after-school programs provide additional opportunities to develop leadership and professional skills.
ISDenver's Athletics Program for grades 6–9 includes Co-Ed Cross Country, Tennis, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Co-Ed Track and Field, and Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee. Extended Day School runs from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM and includes before-care, after-care, and a range of after-school clubs (3:45–4:45 PM). The program supports physical activity, teamwork, and well-being through organized sports and wellness-oriented clubs such as yoga and more.
ISDenver is an IB World School serving PreK through Grade 12 with two Denver campuses. It offers the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside a bilingual framework aligned with French and Indian curricula. The Primary Years Programme is delivered in English and Spanish; the Diploma Programme is taught in English and French. The school follows a progressive bilingual model: about 90% language immersion in preschool through Grade 2, a 50/50 English–language split from Grades 3–5, and language-focused block schedules in Grades 6–8. A Chinese language program is integrated in the Middle Years, complemented by additional language offerings and international trips. ISDenver maintains a Section française and is a partner in the AEFE network.
