ISDenver teaches four languages: French, Spanish, Chinese, and English. English is the mother tongue for many ISDenver students, and bilingualism is cultivated through immersion. In K1, about 10% of language learning time is in English, rising each year; in the Middle Years Programme (grades 6–8), English becomes the primary language of instruction, while about 20% of time is spent learning in and through a foreign language. The language curriculum aligns with Colorado state standards and the curriculum of the target language country of origin.
ISDenver provides bilingual education across PreK–12 with immersive language tracks in four languages: French, Spanish, Chinese, and English. The school operates as an IB World School serving students from age 3 through high school. In the Early Childhood Education program, 90% of learning time is spent in a target language. English language development is integrated with the target language program to promote bilingualism and multilingualism.
Immersion language tracks are available in French, Spanish, and Chinese and are integrated across the PreK–G12 program. ISDenver is the only PreK–G12 international school in Colorado with immersive language tracks and the IB Diploma. The immersion model develops early literacy in the target language and then applies those skills to English literacy as content is taught in both languages.
ISDenver is an IB World School serving PreK through Grade 12 with two Denver campuses. It offers the International Baccalaureate continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside a bilingual framework aligned with French and Indian curricula. The Primary Years Programme is delivered in English and Spanish; the Diploma Programme is taught in English and French. The school follows a progressive bilingual model: about 90% language immersion in preschool through Grade 2, a 50/50 English–language split from Grades 3–5, and language-focused block schedules in Grades 6–8. A Chinese language program is integrated in the Middle Years, complemented by additional language offerings and international trips. ISDenver maintains a Section française and is a partner in the AEFE network. The PreK–G8 campus at 7701 East First Place, Unit C, and the High School Campus at 458 Uinta Way are equipped with libraries, gymnasia, and fields. The school emphasizes service learning, after-school clubs in robotics, drama, and third-language study, and international journeys if applicable for students over various grades.
