Facilities Overview

Upper School is housed in the Cunard Building at 1 Morris Street. Light-filled classrooms use state-of-the-art technology and offer views of New York Harbor, the city, and the Statue of Liberty. The campus includes a research library, art and music studios, multiple technology labs, and a café. Athletic facilities comprise a 25-yard pool, a full-size gymnasium, and a fully equipped fitness center. The Broad Street Campus serves younger students and provides science labs, art studios, music rooms, a library, a swimming pool, a gym, and a ballroom.

Sports Facilities

Two indoor pools provide swimming facilities across Léman's campuses, with the Morris Street Aquatics Center featuring a competition-sized pool for instruction and teams. A rock-climbing wall supports physical education. A full gymnasium and a fitness center support conditioning and team practices. The Broad Street Campus provides additional gym facilities and a swimming pool for younger students.

Academic Facilities

SMART Classrooms are equipped with the latest technology and audiovisual capabilities. The Technology Lab houses software resources, 3D printers, and spaces for computer science, digital music, and digital design. Multiple Science Labs support inquiry-based science learning. The Library offers print and digital resources and is supported by librarians with advanced degrees. Art Studios, an Art Gallery, and a 400-seat Theatre support visual and performing arts, while Music and Practice Rooms host ensembles and private lessons.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Children in PreK through Grade 5 can participate in after-school programming, with Middle School students joining clubs and sports. Léman Plus offers enrichment courses including performing and visual arts, chess, newspaper, martial arts, STEM, swimming, sports, and cooking. The Center for Early Childhood Education After-School provides a program for PreK 2 through PreK 4. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is available to students aged 14-24. Camp Léman is Léman's summer day camp for ages 3 through rising 6th grade, featuring on-site pool time, sports, rooftop and field activities, and a range of specialty programs.
