The campus covers 10 acres in the Energy Corridor and centers on a modern two‑story building. It features state‑of‑the‑art classrooms, administrative offices, a library, and dedicated meeting spaces. The school was founded in August 2017 and prepares students for the French Baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate (IB). LIH is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization, the French Ministry of Education, and the Texas Alliance of Accredited Private Schools (TAAPS), and is affiliated with the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE).
The campus includes a library and modern classrooms. LIH combines French Ministry of Education standards with the IB framework and the American curriculum, offering a Dual Diploma and International Academic Pathways. Language enrichment in French and English is available for PK–12 at no extra cost, and Arabic language instruction is provided. Academic support and a supervised Study Hall operate for students in Grades 1–12 after school.
After-school program offers a wide range of clubs and activities. Sports include basketball, badminton, dodgeball, tennis, flag football, soccer, golf, multisport, pickleball, volleyball, karate, and track and field. STEAM activities include robotics, coding, and engineering. Music and dance offerings include music, guitar, piano, ballet, Zumba, hip hop, and flamenco. Arts and languages include acting, crafts, painting, English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, German, and Latin. School Life oversees after-school programs and school clubs.
LI Lycée International de Houston is a private international day school in Houston's Energy Corridor. Opened in 2017 on a 10-acre campus, it serves students from 18 months through 12th grade and draws international community from more than 50 nationalities. The school offers two pathways: the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP) taught in English, and the French Baccalaureate, which includes a bilingual French International Baccalaureate (BFI) option that adds American AP courses in its American/BFI track. Instruction is in English and French, with additional language offerings including Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, and German, reinforcing multilingualism as a core element. LIH is affiliated with AEFE and accredited by IB, the French Ministry of Education, and the Texas TAAPS, with SEVP approval for international students.
