Rogers International School (RIS) is a public inter-district magnet school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 8. As an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, RIS implements both the Primary Years Programme and Middle Years Programme. The curriculum emphasizes inquiry-based learning and the development of the "IB Learner Profile" attributes, such as being open-minded and principled. The campus is particularly known for its architectural integration with environmental education; the school building itself is a LEED-certified facility designed as a "teaching tool." It features an environmental science theme with specialized labs and a layout that encourages students to monitor the building’s energy use and sustainable systems. Notable facilities include a dedicated technology hub, a collaborative media center, and expansive outdoor play areas. Beyond the classroom, students participate in the RIS Community Action Center and after-school programs hosted by ROSCCO, which include structured activities in drama, chess, and science.
