The school offers the International Baccalaureate program. It is a college-preparatory high school with an international studies and world language focus. The school offers Dance, Theater Arts and Visual Arts. Improv Club, Yearbook, Writing Center and Becoming Snowden Book Club are among the student clubs. Asian Club and GSA Club provide additional opportunities for cultural and social engagement. These activities support creative expression and collaboration beyond the classroom.
World Languages are offered: Chinese, French, Japanese and Spanish. Chinese Classes include Chinese 1/2 and IB Chinese Year 1/2; French Classes include French 1/2 and IB French Year 1/2; Japanese Classes include Japanese 1/2 and IB Japanese Year 1/2; Spanish Classes include Spanish 1/2 and IB Spanish Year 1/2. IB language programs are available.

The school has a Service Study Club. Travel Study is a core program that lets Snowden students gain first-hand experiences with people of other cultures. Through Travel Study Snowden students travel to many places, including Rwanda. The school partners with organizations such as Freedom House, Calderwood Writing Center, Art Science Prize, Boston Scholar Athletes, Boston Public Health Commission and Boston Vertex; It also maintains connections with the Princeton Association of New England mentoring program and Old South Church.
The school supports student leadership through Student Government. The Mentoring Program exists to foster guidance and role-model mentorship. The Path Program and Team of Student Deans provide additional leadership and supportive structures for students.
Athletics are offered, including Track and several team sports. The Snowden Track Team has been crowned the South Conference Champions. The Health Center operates on campus, and a Wellness program and related syllabus are in place. Snowden Spirit Week is among the school-wide events that contribute to school life.
Snowden International School at Copley is a public high school in the Boston Public Schools district serving ages 14 to 18.
