Waterfront Montessori operates across two connected campuses at 150 Warren Street, Jersey City. The Lower Campus houses Toddler and Primary programs on the ground floor; the Upper Campus hosts Elementary and Middle School on the second floor. The Upper Campus features five large classrooms and is equipped with 3-D printers, music rooms with acoustic and digital pianos, a robotics lab, a library and three multipurpose rooms. In 2018, a dedicated Art Studio was added on the ground floor to support Middle School. The campus includes an 8,000-square-foot private outdoor waterfront play area and safety features such as locked entrances, door chimes, and 24/7 surveillance.
PE and recreational activities for Upper Elementary and Middle School take place outdoors in Liberty State Park when weather permits. The Lower Campus has an 8,000-square-foot private outdoor waterfront play area.
Lower Elementary classrooms each feature a living 'Breathe' wall. Upper Elementary and Middle School spaces include computer-enabled flat-panel TVs and charging carts for student devices. The Upper Campus occupies 12,000 square feet on the second floor and gained a dedicated Art Studio in 2018. The Lower Campus provides three ground-floor classrooms, a library, a robotics lab and three multipurpose rooms.
Project-based learning includes Theater, Spanish, STEAM and Violin, along with Montessori Model United Nations and Mini-Apprenticeships. Additional offerings include Student-Led Entrepreneurship, World Peace Game, TED Talks, Poetry Slam, Dance Residencies, Film Making, Web Development, Game Design, Coding, Community Service, Instrumental and Vocal Music, and Visual Art.
