The school provides the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum to children aged 2 to 18. Most students undertake the bilingual IBDP. Academic stages run from Kindergarten (2-5) to Primary (6-11), Middle (11-15), and High School (16-18), with the IB program covering ages 2-18. IB results from 2025 show an average of 35 points, with 21% achieving 40+ points, 34% achieving 38+ points, and a 100% pass rate; personalised university counselling supports post-secondary pathways.
The school offers a performing arts program with music, drama, and dance. Ensemble music and various performance opportunities are provided; students participate in instrument groups and vocal ensembles. Drama and dance include annual middle/high school theatre productions, a dance club, and leadership opportunities (OCET) for behind-the-scenes roles. Facilities include a Sound Lounge with three practice rooms, and students participate in events and competitions such as Shanghai Student Film Festival and related awards.
Specialist language support provides intensive English tuition and multiple language options at IB level. From Primary onward, students are taught by subject specialists in English, French, Spanish, maths, science, drama, dance, music, physical education and public speaking. From Kindergarten to High School, students participate in a wide range of after-school activities including academic experiences, creative and performing arts pursuits, and sports. ASAs and clubs include Chess Club, Theatre Games, Lego Club, Dance Club, Book Club, Musical & Choir, and Orchestra, among others. Mindfulness and Yoga, Cooking Club, Film Studies, and EcoBrick are also offered. Activities are run by school teachers, and learners may join multiple activities as timetables allow.

OCET (Orcas Creative Events Team) provides students with hands-on opportunities in production, sound and technical roles, design and marketing, stage management, creative direction, talent scouting, and public speaking. European International School (EIS) in Ho Chi Minh City offers the full IB continuum—PYP, MYP, and DP—for students aged 2–18 on a single, garden-style campus in Thao Dien. Instruction is in English, with additional languages including German, French, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean, and English support is available for non-native speakers. Families can use a professional school bus service serving nearby districts and the city centre. EIS currently enrolls 569 students and highlights small class teaching with a low student-to-teacher ratio.
