How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Inquiry and information gathering. Families express interest in the Korean International School in Hanoi and request program details, including the structure of K-12 study under the Korean national curriculum. The admissions team provides an overview of the school's approach and clarifies language use and placement expectations. The school's curriculum is aligned with overseas Korean education standards.

2. Eligibility check and document submission. Families submit basic identity information and prior schooling records for eligibility review, with the school confirming grade placement according to Korean Ministry of Education guidance for overseas schools. Documentation is reviewed to determine the appropriate grade level and any required supporting materials.

3. Assessments and interview. Applicants may be invited to participate in assessments and an interview as part of the screening process; the exact format and subjects assessed depend on the student's grade level. The school uses these evaluations to gauge academic readiness and fit with the Korean curriculum in an international setting.

4. Admission decision. The admissions team communicates the decision and any next steps for enrollment; decisions consider space availability and alignment with program capacity. Accepted applicants receive instructions on how to proceed with enrollment and any required deposits or fees.

5. Enrollment and onboarding. Families complete the enrollment process by submitting acceptance forms and paying enrollment and tuition-related fees as applicable. The school provides guidance on start dates, uniform requirements, and any orientation activities to help new students integrate into the Korean curriculum and the Hanoi campus.
