English is the language of instruction in the monolingual CVK program. In the bilingual track, English language study is emphasized as part of the MOET bilingual pathway, alongside MOET content. English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is available for non-native English speakers in Grades 3–8 at no cost. The Cambridge IGCSE/AS/A-Levels track is part of the international pathway.
Sedbergh Vietnam offers a bilingual track as part of the Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS program. Families can choose between a bilingual pathway and an international pathway; the bilingual track combines the MOET Vietnamese curriculum with international elements, including a Cambridge English component, IPC, and IMYC. The curriculum is organized into Primary (Grades 1–5) and Secondary (Grades 6–12). At the end of Grade 8, students select between two pathways: the MOET program with an intensive English component leading to a MOET diploma (with IELTS target 6.5 or higher) or the Cambridge IGCSE/AS/A-Levels track.
Sedbergh Vietnam operates a monolingual English immersion program at the CVK campus for early years, described as 100% English immersion. The Sedbergh Summer Course 2025 includes English immersion with at least 15 hours of formal English instruction per week, taught by native speakers, and a 1:15 teacher-pupil ratio. These immersion offerings underscore English as a central language in the school's programs.
Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS is a Cambridge-influenced international bilingual school located at No 86 Road 23, Phu My Hung, in Ho Chi Minh City. Its roots trace back to the Bilingual Canadian International School, established in 2012, which later joined with Sedbergh School in a partnership announced in December 2022 to form Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS. The school offers two study pathways: a bilingual program that combines MOET curriculum with IPC/IMYC and Cambridge English, and a Cambridge international pathway offering IGCSE and A Levels. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for local MOET graduation or international university entry, with a strong emphasis on a wide range of extracurricular activities. The campus supports more than 60 clubs, a six-house system, and a broad co-curricular program, alongside a school bus service for commuting families. The primary program covers Grades 1–5 and the secondary program covers Grades 6–12. The Head of School leads a leadership team that includes a Chief Academic Officer and vice principals for both primary and secondary divisions.
