The school offers after-school activities designed to develop and build on students' interests and talents. These activities run from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. on most days after school; the range varies each term, and a small fee covers running costs. Academic-focused clubs include Vietnamese Language Club, Mandarin Club, Tudy Support Club, Maths Club, ICT Club, English Club, and English Support Club. These clubs provide opportunities to reinforce learning, practice problem-solving, language skills and digital literacy in small-group settings.
Students can access piano lessons and performing arts activities as part of the after-school programme. The arts and creativity offerings include Piano, Performing Arts, Dance Club, Cooking Club, Handicrafts Club, and more, fostering creativity and self-expression. Cooking Club teaches baking and healthy snacks; Handicrafts Club covers a variety of handcrafts, while Dance Club supports movement and artistry. The programme emphasizes creative projects and stage-ready performances through Performing Arts and Dance.
Vietnamese Language Club helps students improve Vietnamese through speaking and reviewing vocabulary and grammar. Mandarin Club enables exploration of Chinese language and culture through video, audio, and reading materials. English Club covers speaking, listening, reading, grammar and comprehension, supporting the diverse language needs of SIS's student body. These language clubs contribute to linguistic development and cultural awareness within a multilingual community.
After-school clubs include Mini Board Games and Mini Games Club, as well as Chess Club, which foster strategic thinking and social interaction. Table Tennis, Badminton, and Soccer provide regular opportunities for competition, teamwork, and physical activity. Other social and hobby activities are offered to support peer connections and personal interests. The range varies by term, with some clubs rotating each term.
Yoga for Kids promotes physical health, balance, and mindfulness. Learn To Swim offers swimming instruction for all levels, complemented by Swimming Club for practice. Soccer, Table Tennis, and Badminton provide opportunities for sport and fitness, while Dance Club supports movement and physical wellbeing. The programme supports wellbeing and fitness alongside academic development.
