1. Eligibility and program options for The Dewey Schools Hai Phong. For the 2025–2026 school year, admission is by grade level with age guidelines: Early-Years for birth years 2019–2015, Elementary for birth years 2018–2014, and Middle/High for birth years 2013–2006. The Hai Phong campus offers the Discover Integrated Program (Grades 1–12) and the Adventure International Program (Grades 6–9). Enrollment is via an online Admission application.
2. Online admission application. To begin enrollment, you complete the online Admission application, register for the application, and submit the application along with the admission fees. After submission, you will receive information on the entrance assessment schedule. If applicable, you should ensure you meet any financial obligations as part of the process.
3. Entrance assessment. Students undertake the entrance assessment on the date scheduled by the school. The assessment results are announced within 10 working days after the test date. For Grade 1, the assessment covers experiential soft skills, logical thinking, and English proficiency; Grades 2–12 involve a learning performance test (interview and essay) in Literature–Vietnamese, English, and Math, with results also announced within 10 working days.
4. Documentation and financial procedures. After the assessment, families complete the required admission documentation and finalize the financial procedures. This step includes submitting admission documents and arranging any related payments.
5. Official enrollment. Official admission is granted once all documentation is completed and financial obligations are fulfilled, and students enroll according to the school's schedule. Enrollment must be completed at least 10 days before the official admission date, or eligibility may be affected.
6. Campus-specific notes. The Hai Phong campus offers Discover Integrated Program (Grades 1–12) and Adventure International Program (Grades 6–9), which informs which grades a new student might join based on age and program fit.
The Dewey Schools Hai Phong does not publicly describe a waitlist or pool system.
The Dewey Schools Hai Phong offers several scholarships for qualifying students:
- IB MYP International Baccalaureate Scholarship: For students entering Grades 6 or 9 in 2025–2026, up to 100% of lifetime tuition may be awarded. The program is for 48 talents and has a defined application deadline.
- Mastery Talent Class Scholarships: Campus-specific scholarships (Ocean Park, Cau Giay, and Hai Phong) offering up to 100% tuition for up to four years of secondary education (Grade 6–Grade 12, with Hai Phong targeting Grade 3–Grade 12 within the Hai Phong scholarships). The Hai Phong scholarship program notes a total program value up to 10 billion VND for 2025–2026, with a pool including 38 Mastery Talent Scholarships and 12 John Dewey Scholarships.
- General scholarship program: The school highlights an annual scholarship process to identify young talents, with up to 100% tuition in some cases, and additional rewards for internal students demonstrating outstanding performance.
