Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Submit an Admissions Inquiry. Parents and students will receive a detailed consultation on academic programs, extracurricular and enrichment activities, tuition policy, school regulations, and admissions procedures. This initial contact helps families understand which WA Curriculum pathways (WA K-10 International, WA Curriculum Partial – Integrated, and related programs) align with the student's goals. The Admissions team can be reached via the school's inquiry process and hotline for direct guidance: (028) 7109 5077 and 0963 999 701.
2. Entrance Exams. For Year 1, an interview with Vietnamese and international teachers is conducted alongside a psychological readiness assessment. For Year 2 and above, the entrance exam covers Math, Vietnamese (Literature), and English. These assessments determine placement within the WA International Program and WA curriculum pathways offered by WASS.
3. Receive Entrance Exam Results. Results and feedback from WASS's Academic Council are provided within 3–5 working days after the exam. The Academic Council comprises the principal, the WA program director, and the lead for Education and Training. This step confirms whether a student meets the admissions criteria and which program they will join.
4. Enrollment Process. After a positive admissions decision, families submit enrollment confirmation, complete tuition payment, and provide all required documents. The school then completes the official enrollment once records and payments are in order. Timelines and document requirements are communicated by the Admissions team during this stage.
5. Fees note. The school does not charge a fee for the Entrance Exam. Publicly available FAQ confirms that there is no charge for taking the Entrance Exam. Current tuition fee schedules are not published on the site in a readily accessible, up-to-date format, with historical fee schedules available from older pages.
WASS does not publish a waitlist or pool system on its admissions pages. There is no publicly available, detailed waitlist policy described in the Admissions Information or How to Apply sections. Families should contact the admissions team for current status if they need to discuss waitlist options.
