WASS offers more than 35 clubs spanning academics, STEM, debate, math competitions, and science-related projects. The after-school clubs run from 3:10 pm to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, providing time for extended study and inquiry beyond class. Students may join up to two clubs per academic year, with each club typically consisting of 15–30 participants.
Arts and creative clubs include Drama Club, Music Band, Ballet (Kindergarten), and Handicraft/Art clubs, with additional creative-interest options such as MasterChef and French. These clubs give students opportunities to perform, create, and express themselves beyond regular lessons. The arts and creative offerings span visual and performing arts, design, and related creative activities as part of the clubs program.
Language clubs include Mandarin and French. The Model United Nations Club provides opportunities to engage with global issues and develop diplomacy and debate skills. The World Scholar's Cup is an academic competition that some clubs prepare for, fostering research and public speaking.
Clubs cover a range of social and hobby activities, including Chess, MasterChef, and a variety of sports. Sports clubs include Basketball, Badminton, Karate, Taekwondo, and Kickboxing. The program emphasizes teamwork, communication, and personal development as part of after-school life.
WASS organizes community service programs, volunteering opportunities, charity work, and social responsibility initiatives. Experiential learning field trips and cultural exchanges contribute to community awareness. These activities extend learning beyond the classroom as part of the broader extracurricular program.
Leadership development is facilitated through the Student Council and house systems. Participation in clubs helps develop leadership, project planning, and presentation skills. Mentoring and career-skills opportunities are integrated into the after-school and club activities.

The Western Australian International School System (WASS) is a multi-campus international school network in central Ho Chi Minh City. It delivers Western Australian and international qualifications, with a pathway from the Western Australian Early Years Program through WA Curriculum Partial–Integrated Program, WAce International, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school emphasizes English-language instruction, a broad extra-curricular program, and a diverse student body from many nationalities.
