The campus occupies 25 acres on Leopards Hill Road in Lusaka. It includes purpose-built classrooms, science labs, offices, and meeting spaces, plus a library/media center. A 400-seat theater, an indoor gymnasium, and an outdoor covered gymnasium support arts and physical education. Three swimming pools, two athletic fields, six outdoor multi-sport courts, a multipurpose hall, and maintenance buildings are on site. The school has completed the second of three renovation phases to improve spaces, increase security, create community spaces, improve traffic flow and parking, and preserve green space.

AIS Lusaka is an independent, co-educational day school serving ages 3 to 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate framework (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside an American Curriculum, with authorized delivery of all three IB programs.
