Facilities Overview

Baobab College sits on a green campus south of Lusaka in Zambia. The Administration Building was inaugurated in 2015, and the Library and Learning Resource Centre opened in 2019 with dedicated Primary and Secondary libraries, a Cybrary, and a language lab. A School Hall opened in 2024 with advanced acoustics and lighting for performing arts. Classrooms are extensive across Primary and Secondary, with interactive whiteboards in every room and modern labs for Food Technology, Design and Technology, and IT. The Early Learning Centre provides a secure area for indoor and outdoor learning, and the natural environment supports exploration.

Sports Facilities

Baobab College's sports facilities include an eight-lane solar-heated 25-meter swimming pool, tennis courts, and basketball courts. The campus features an extensive playing field that caters to track and field events. The swimming pool is solar-heated, and the courts support a variety of sport activities. These facilities enable a broad school sports program throughout the year.

Academic Facilities

The college has modern dedicated labs for Food Technology, Design and Technology, and Primary and Secondary IT. Interactive whiteboards are in every classroom. Baobab College is a coeducational day and boarding school in Lusaka, Zambia, offering British curriculum qualifications from early years to A levels. The school follows Cambridge IGCSE and Pearson Edexcel IGCSE programmes, with students aged 2 to 18 supported through a three-stage Senior School that leads to university admission worldwide. Years 7–9 study core subjects including English, Maths, Science, French, History and Geography, while Years 10–11 follow the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum culminating in examinations.
