Harare International School is Zimbabwe's only International Baccalaureate World School and is fully authorized in the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and the Diploma Programme. The school follows the IB continuum, with the Diploma Programme offered for Grades 11 and 12. The school year runs from mid-August to mid-June, following a Northern Hemisphere calendar.

Harare International School is an American-sponsored, independent, non-profit co-educational day school in Mount Pleasant, Harare, serving students from age 3 through 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate continuum—Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme—preparing learners for global citizenship. The Elementary School serves ages 3–11 (PYP), and the Secondary School covers Grades 6–12 (DP in 11–12).
